Revell's Boeing 737

Gallery Article by Drewe Manton

"This Boeing 737 is the Revell kit, finished as one of Sterling European's "Beachball" aircraft.  Decals are from Jennings Heilig of Liveries Unlimited!  Almost all external colours are from Halfords spray cans. . . can't begin to tell you the looks you get in Halfords with a decal sheet in one hand and cans of paint in the other trying to get a match!  The green of the Sterling scheme is Ford Modena Green.  Just in case anyone is interested and has a Halfords handy. . .

Sadly, this model was destroyed along with another airliner on the day these pics were taken.  It was a freak accident involving a frosty night, an icy car roof, and going back to shut the garden gate prior to attending the local model meeting.

C'est la vié I guess!"
