1/48 Hasegawa F-15C Eagle

Here is my latest, the Hasegawa 1/48 F-15C with Black Box cockpit, and SuperScale decals.  The Black Box cockpit set was a real beauty, and installed easily.  The only problem I had with it was at the end, I couldn't get the actuators that raise the canopy to line up perfectly with the cylinders in the Black Box set, but it is hard to tell.

I used the AIM-7's from the Hasegawa weapon set, as they look much better than those included with the kit.  The AIM-9's are from the kit.  

Almost every picture I have of the F-15 shows the outermost flaps dropped, so I cut them off and repositioned them.  The only other things I added were a hose to the nose gear, and I wired the HUD.  Oh, I also added photoetched mirrors to the canopy.  Model Master enamels were used, and Superscale decals for an attractive Alaskan bird were applied.  It took me three solid nights to decal, mostly because of all the stencils.  Now, on to my Revell F-15E!!
