Here is a recent diorama I finished of a P-47 in the Pacific theater during the closing stages of WW2.
The tail is a KI-43 from the Nichimo
kit the damage is done with odd's and ends from old photoetch frets and
aluminum foil of course the bullet holes are done by grinding
The palm leaves are paper and photo etch, the ivy is a lichen that grows local it was dried then dyed and clearcoated. The P-47D's finish is bare metal foil. John Geigle
