There’s not much to say about this kit, except it threw itself together in a weekend.  Fit was generally excellent with the exception of the cowling to the fuselage where some trimming of plastic was required to get it in place and square.

I replaced the kit seat with an Airwaves etched version as the plastic one was far too thick.  Etched belts also came from the Airwaves set.

The cockpit was finished in Zinc Chromate as specified in the instructions, but I have seen kits finished with black cockpits.  If anyone could shed some more light on this I would be grateful.

The paints used throughout were Lifecolour acrylics thinned with Halfords windscreen wash.  The final varnish coat was Xtracolour flat and satin mixed 50/50 as I think that their flat is a bit too flat!

If you like long nose hogs then this kit is a quick way of building your collection up.  I’m hoping Santa will bring me the Aeronavale version with the Suez stripes for Christmas as I have been a good boy this year.  Honest!!
