1/72 Italeri Wessex

This is the Italeri kit.  Italeri had earlier released the US version Sea Horse, but I liked the RAF scheme better, so I bought this version. The kit has recessed details and I think it is nice to see the rotors molded in a dropped fashion as is seen on the real choppers.

The cockpit detail and the inner cabin detail are a little bit simplified, but in 1/72 scale, you won't want more. I finished the kit with model master enamels and a oil wash with raw umber added the needed weathered effect.
