Eduard's 1/48
Fokker D.VII (OAW) is an excellent kit with no need for
aftermarket items. I chose to represent a colorful Fokker D.VII
(OAW) flown by Commander Rudolf Stark of the Bavarian Jasta 35b in 1918.

I used various
shades and tints of Model Master acrylics and Humbrol enamels for the pink and
dark green paint scheme. 6X tippet was used for the rigging. A
combination of oils (pin washes and filters), pastels and silver pencil was used
for weathering.

This is a great
introductory kit for anyone interested in building World War I aircraft.
