Here are some pics of my recently built North American T-6 G.  There are two kits available in this scale.  One is from Revell/Monogram and the other one is the old Ocidental kit released by Italeri.  I preferred the Italeri version because of the engraved panel lines and the large decal sheet, which provides markings for five versions.

To add some extra detail in the cockpit, I used etched parts from Eduard.  There were no major problems during the build and the fit is very good in consideration of the age of the kit. You need only minor sanding, but no filling. 

For the painting I used Gunze and Tamiya Acrylics. The metallic parts are painted with Alclad II. 

Weathering was done using chalk pastels and a slight wash with artist oil-paints.
