This is a Tamiya F-4U Corsair built for the bent wings group build. The kit is OOB (out of box) apart from the decals.

The decals are over 23 years old. They silvered badly. The model received 3 coats of future after the decals were applied, the dull coat.  Should have been enough but .....it was not. The decals are from Arrow graphics. Good company that used to be the go to source for Canadian decals. Howard still sells them at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton Ontario. That and he is a real nice guy too.

The decals represent the plane flown by Hammy Gray VC in the days just before the end of WW2.
