F-16CJ Block 50B CCIP 77th FS ‘Gambler’
in Operation Odyssey Dawn / Unify Protector'
My subject replicates 91-0345 from 77th FS flew by LTC Johny Vargus in Operation Odyssey Dawn.

The kit is from Academy. As you
know, it has shape issue around the nose. But overall details are correct. So I tried to correct
it by using Wolfpack Designs improvement set. But the resin nose was a little bit
shrunk.

Small inlet at the leading edge of vertical stab was deleted. It is a BLOS (Beyond Line Of Sight) radio system update. This panel’s color is lighter than the rest of stab.

In Odyssey Dawn, his particular aircraft was still clean. So, I kept weathering quite subtle.
To fellow modelers, I would like to confess that squadron tail band is not 100% correct.
Because the letters is should be have a club of cards, not only a spade.
Authentic decals released their latest sheet for this particular aircraft in both 1/72 and 1/48 scales.
