Aermacchi SF-260EV, Venezuela Air Force
Continuing with the commemoration in 2020, of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force.

The Marchetti SF-260EV is a military training aircraft manufactured by Aermacchi Italy. With a 250 hp engine, the SF260 can fly at a speed of 200 mph and a flight range of over 1800 km: that makes this airplane a high performance training aircraft.

The FAV bought 12 SF-260EV in 2000, replacing the old Beachcraft T-34A Mentors that had been operating since 1958. The SF-260s are still operating today.

To build the Venezuelan SF-260EV model,  I use the 1/48 scale Marchetti SF-260E resin kit from Planet Models; the paint is acrylic from Model Master (Testor), basically silver and aluminum, the decals are home-made.
