Wanting to promote WW1
modeling a little on ARC, I decided to send pictures of these two ....They are
two Airfix Albatross D3 kits....Or should I say..." Albatrocities"...ha
ha! sorry I couldn't resist ..but they were a challenge to assemble...

I built these out of the box about
two years ago....(at the same time )..and they were the first WW1 planes I
ever built.
I just freshened them up a little
this week end by adding oil washes (thanks to Gianni for the inspiration!).
These aren't Roden kits of course, but fun just the same.
