Yes, it’s not a mistake, this kit is Italeri but originally it was a Kfir C2.

Modifications:

  • Extension of nose.
  • Elimination of canards.
  • Reconstruction of slats.
  • Elimination of air intake in tail fin.
  • Addition of 2 subwing fuel tanks,from 1/72 mirage IIIE Eastern Express.
  • Addition of "underfuselage strake cableducts".
  • Addition of 2 magic missiles made of plasticard.
  • Additions of 2 cannons.

Painting:  
This version shows the last selvatic camuflage post Cenepa conflict.

Model master enamels:

  • Upperside:Beret Green(1571),Medium Green(FS 34102) and Gunship gray (FS 36118).
  • Underside:Light Ghost Gray (FS 36375)

Decals:
Mix of Aztec (Fuerza Aerea del Peru 2) and Albatros (Southern Flying tigers).

Mirage 5P’s are based in Pedro Ruiz Gallo Air Base,together the MiG-29’s conforming 6th Aerial Group in Chiclayo north of Peru.
