Our troops in the Ruhr Area reported the appearance of a hitherto unreported vehicle, clearly based on the Sd.Kfz.234 series. Form the little photographic evidence that exists the vehicle is equipped with two 30mm cannon that can be used in the ground-ground or air-ground role. The tentative designation Sd.Kfz.234/5 "Gepard" is given by our intelligence staff, based on POW reports.

This is the venerable Matchbox (Revell re-release) 1/76 SdKfz 234/2 "Puma" minus its turret. The new turret is scratchbuilt using the turret of a Hasegawa M3 Grant, copula of a Matchbox Panther, gunpods from a Matchbox Hurricane MkIId, and brass barrels form Schatton.
