I have loved the
B-25 ever since, as a kid during World War II, I saw "Thirty Seconds over
Tokyo". I still think it's one of the best looking aircraft ever built.

Although the B-25J
was not the model used in the Tokyo raid, the Revell model is a lot cheaper than
the Accurate Miniatures version. The main visible difference is the top turret
and ADF antenna location. The B-25J was built OOB with the exception of two Radio Shack
motors, an AA battery in the bomb bay and a switch in the forward crew
compartment access hole.
The TB-25J was used
by the USAF during the 1950s as the Basic Multi-engine trainer. I wanted very
badly to go to multiengine school to fly it, but was sent instead to T-33's. But
I wanted a bare metal model to reflect the USAF livery used at the time.

The same mods as above were used,
plus removal of the top turret and guns. The decals are Tauro 1/48 USAF T-33
decals.
