The CDF-301
Hemet-Ryan Helitack, which belongs to the Riverside County in California.
The real one fly's
still in SoCal and is based at Hemet-Ryan (HMT) - The Home of Top Mud. You can
directly fly from L.A. to the south through the valley and
will find this town, west of Palm Springs and Mt. San Jacinto.
| Here you can see
the hose (a bootlace ) and the steps, which had been floats for a Bell 206 |

The tank was a small
box for a memory card - but it's a bit too big. What the eye doesn't see,
the heart doesn't grieve over.
I started this model
summer 2005 and finished it Easter '06.
And I always speak of the N491DF,
but I've printed the wrong tailnumber (N498DF), because I used a texture file
for the flight-simulator.
It was very
difficult to make a recherche for this aircraft, because there aren't many
photos online.
This model is
dedicated to all fire-fighting aircraft crews, smoke-jumpers, hot-shots,
rap-attacker and all other fire-fighters.
If you've questions,
send me an e-mail ;)
