1/48 Italeri Bell EH-1H Super-Huey, CDF

--------------------

The CDF-301 Hemet-Ryan Helitack, which belongs to the Riverside County in California.

The real one fly's still in SoCal and is based at Hemet-Ryan (HMT) - The Home of Top Mud. You can directly fly from L.A. to the south  through the valley and will find this town, west of Palm Springs and Mt. San Jacinto.

Here you can see the hose (a bootlace ) and the steps, which had been floats for a Bell 206

The tank was a small box for a memory card - but it's a bit too big. What the eye doesn't see, the heart doesn't grieve over.

I started this model summer 2005 and finished it Easter '06.

And I always speak of the N491DF, but I've printed the wrong tailnumber (N498DF), because I used a texture file for the flight-simulator.

It was very difficult to make a recherche for this aircraft, because there aren't many photos online.

This model is dedicated to all fire-fighting aircraft crews, smoke-jumpers, hot-shots, rap-attacker and all other fire-fighters.

If you've questions, send me an e-mail ;)
