This new resin cockpit set from Cutting Edge Modelworks includes update parts for the 1/32 Trumpeter F-105D/F/G kit.  The parts include a more accurate radome with pitot tube (to replace the inaccurate kit part) and a ventral strake that is common on the F-105D/F/G.  This set allows you to build your model with the undernose strike camera or the strike camera/RHAW combination.

This set will require the use of your X-Acto knife with a fresh blade.  You will be required to do some surgery to the kit fuselage before you can adds these detail items.  For the nose you need to cut the fuselage piece on panel line back from the nose cone.  Scoring back and forth with a fresh blade is the answer.....a fresh blade makes things go very quick.  You'll need to check your references to decide if you are to add the undernose strike camera or the strike camera/RHAW combination

Resin casting is of a very high quality and all detail is very well done.  The delicate parts and packaged in cardboard protectors to keep them from getting broken.  If you're building the big 1/32 Trumpeter F-105 kit, then this resin set from Cutting Edge Modelworks is sure to interest you.
