This latest release
from Lifelike
Decals
features four different Fw-190's. This is Part 2 of a series
dealing with the Fw-190 in Luftwaffe markings from February 1942 in France to
the summer of 1944 in Germany.
The first plane is a Fw-190
A-4 flown by Oblt Siegfried Schnell, Sta. KAp. 9/JG2 in the miiddle of
1942 at Vannes AB inn Vrance. This aircraft sports a black rooster
head artwork on the engine cowling and 72 kill markings on the rudder.
The camo scheme is RLM 74/75/76 with a yellow rudder, yellow lower nose
and yellow wing tips.
The second plane is a
Fw-190 F-8 "Yellow or Green 7"of 1/SG4 or Stab/SG4 in
September 1944 in Wenden AB in Germany. The camo scheme is RLM
74/75/76. The prop spinner is yellow or green with a white spiral
(included as a decal). Depending on which unit this plane belonged
to will determine in the prop spinner and fuselage numbers are yellow or
green.
The third plane is a Fw-190
A-4, flown by Maj Walter Nowortny, KDore JG101 in the spring-summer 1942
from Pau AB in France. The camo scheme is RLM 74/75/76 with a yellow
lower rudder, yellow lower nose and yellow wing tips. There is a big
green heart on the side of the fuselage with a yellow theatre band.
The fourth plane is a
Fw-190 A-3 "Yellow 28", with2/EGr. West sometime in 1942 from
Cazaux AB in France. The camo scheme is RLM 74/75/76 with a yellow
rudder and yellow lower nose.

registration.
